This is a view of the basement- the area where i sing, work, write and teach now.

in this moment of freezing this image Karim is trying to break a piece of thread while Chhaya didi (came from Kolkata) is watching. after he sorted the thread out i sang to them ragas Megh, Purvi and then Mian Malhar.

Behind on the wall, you see a portrait made by Karim himself. So in a manner of speaking you see the artist in front of his art...helping another artiste in presenting her art! what a pity the lighting is so poor; both their faces are hidden in the darkness.
