new addition

the family has a new member finally- the first male to come and be with us on a permanent basis. we call him Dash...for the dachshund that he is. He is a big time brat, big bully (in spite of his size!) There is a whole lot of activity of a newer level. he is so amusing and active that I cannot but smile at his antics now and then.

All the girls are afraid of him and I have noticed that he even likes to bully them over issues of food. He growls at them and unless i am around ginger would never eat the food. i this picture you see my shadow taking the picture. the young man is sitting himself in the front of the house, near the front lawn and the way things seem he is posing for this shot here.
